Microsoft blow up Window Phone 8

Microsoft has revealed its third Windows Phone 8 update, an upgrade that's supposed to make it easy to use on beefy smartphones with six-inch screens.

Windows Phone 8 Update 3, which will be rolled out over the next few months, will have a larger start screen with sizable tiles suitable for five and six-inch displays (used by the so-called phablet phones) in 1080p. Redmond is also adding support for Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor that is expected to be used in Nokia's forthcoming Lumia 1520.

Samsung to Unvail a Curved phone, First of its kind

The Samsung Galaxy Round is the first smartphone to hit the market with a curved OLED display. Previously, only high-end televisions have come with the technology.

Announced at a DoMoCo event, the Xperia Z1F (also known as the Xperia Z1 Mini) will only be available in Japan for the time being. It will be available from December.
